I think its so cute how children wants attention so much.
I bent down to tie one childs shoe today so he doesnt trip. Well, 10 of his buddies saw me tieing his shoe so they alllllllll came up to me asking me to tie their shoe.
Some definitly needed to be re-tied....others didnt...but they still insisted that I tie their shoe. So I had to untie some shoes and retie them for the kids.
These 4 and 5 year olds are by far the cutest kids ever.

So many things I want to do
Since this is my last semester of college before I student teach in January, I've been thinking about all the things that I want to do for the rest of my life. Obviously after I finish student teaching and graduate in May of 2009.
-Travel around Europe (Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, Ireland, England, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Poland)
- Travel around Asia (South Korea, China, Japan, Thailand)
- Travel around in South America (Brazil, Argentina)
- Travel around in Australia
- Teach English in South Korea for 1 or 2 years
- I want to go to Africa and do volunteer work for 1 year.
- Overcome my fear of free-falling and go skydiving
- Learn how to surf
- Learn how to wakeboard
- Go onto Graduate school to get my Master's degree and then my Ph.D
- Visit the Smithsonian Institution
- Go scuba diving in Australia
- I want to be a positive role model to children that come from families that don't have any positive influences.
- I want to be an amazing teacher and open doors to different opportunities to children that didn't think they could succeed.
- I want to help the underprivelaged.
- I want to meet a man that has that has the same moral values as myself.
- I want to fall in love with a man.
- I want to get married to a man that I've fallen head over heals in love with.
- I want to have kids and hopefully be just as amazing as my parents were to me.
The things that I listed so far is just the tip of the iceberg...I'm sure that there's many many many more things that I would want to do but I just can't think of it right now.

Traveling.
One thing that I would LOVE to do is to travel around the world after I graduate from college.
I love traveling, its one of my biggest interests. I think my interest of traveling got started by my parents. Ever since I was young, my family and I would go on vacations every summer. I love going to different places and meeting new people. It keeps your mind open to all the amazing things that are out there.
Thankfully, I have supportive parents that support me on almost everything I do. They said that it doesnt matter if I get a job 1 year late due to traveling. As long as I'm doing what I love, then they support me. My parents said they will pay for my plane, hotels, travel costs if I do travel after i graduate.
Also, there is a blog that I've been reading. His blog is about all the traveling that he has done upon graduating from college. I'm very impressed with his traveling and he went to places that I want to go to after I graduate.

Move in and school.
So I'm moved into my apartment. Moving in wasn't that hard since I live on the first floor of the apartment. Its definitly different than living in the dorm. I have to cook my meals instead of just walking down to the food court and swiping my card. I have to wash my eatting utensils and dishes instead of just throwing out the trays. I have to remember to lock my door so a creep doesnt walk in. Thats just a few examples of somethings that are different than living in the dorm. My roommate is really nice, but I only see her for a couple hours a day because she works a lot and both of us run on different schedules.
On another note, today was the first day of school for my last semester of college. So far I do like my classes and my professors all seem really nice, so thats good. I'm also very excited about the 3 week clincals that I get to do towards the end of this semester before I start student teaching in January. The only downside is that I think there will be TONS of homework/papers/projects/tests etc to do before this semester ends.
And I'm going to end on a totally random note. So today I tried the new "Just Bunches" cereal that came out, and I LOVE it!!! Its like granola and you have two choices of flavors, it has a Honey Nut and Caramel flavor. I think it's made by the people that makes "Honey Bunches of Oats" (which up until today was my favorite cereal). If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend if you're a granola lover!

Back to school.
I am all done packing for my last semester of college. I'll be leaving to head back to school tommorow morning. Then monday starts the Fall 2008 semester.
My professors already sent the class syllabus via email. In a way I'm excited to start class because I love learning and all my classes are for my major...but then again, I'm definitly not looking forward to taking tests...I've never been the best test taker. I'll study hard to do well on a test, but when the actual test day comes around...I'll just freeze. Which usually results in a not good grade.
As always, I'm still going to aim for that 4.0 GPA. I got onto the Dean's list last semester with a 4.0 GPA...hopefully, I'll do it again.

First Blog First Post
So I finally did it, I created a blogging account. I've been meaning to create an account for quite some time now, but I never found the time to actually sit down and well...create one until now.
Let me start off by introducing myself so everyone can get an idea of who I am. (Chances are a lot of you got to this page by me giving you a link to my blog and know me in person) If not, then well heres your chance to get to know me!
Well, my name is Susan. I'm currently in my last semester of college before I start student teaching in January of 2009. The most important people in my life are my family and friends. I'm nice to just about everyone and I try to treat people the way I want to be treated. I am very easy going and I try to avoid confrontations at all costs. I love meeting new people and getting to know about other cultures. I love looking up recipes of my favorite foods and cooking it...sometimes it turns out ok...sometimes not so much....but either way its a learning experience. However, I'm an excellent baker...baking is one of my biggest hobbies. I love traveling, thanks to my parents I've been to so many amazing places that sparked my interest of traveling. I love hanging out with family and friends. I love helping people. I love every season of the year. I love children. I love driving around with the windows down and the wind in my hair. I love the holiday season...especially since everyone is so happy and the christmas lights brightly lite in the trees look so beautiful. I think I have more loves than I have hates....theres more but I'm to lazy to list everything...because I feel like it will take forever to list everything I love.
After i re-read that last paragraph that I wrote...I feel like its a little confusing....I thought about re-writing it...but i decided to keep it the way it is. I apologize if its a little hard to follow since my thoughts are all over the place.
Anyway, I started this blog to kind of document my life...kind of like a journal. I plan on keeping this blog up for a couple years. So I want to look back at my posts a few years from now and either laugh or cry while reading the posts that I made earlier.
Ok, well this is definitly a long post. It is currently 12:48 and I am exhausted. I will try to update this as much as possible.
Goodnight!
